Grandparents Day
As part of the school holiday programme at the Library we ran a treasure hunt based on the family and local history collections. With the help of their parent or grandparent, the children had to find the answer to all the questions based on the clues provided. Some of the questions included; look up the local newspaper for the day they were born, investigate the history of some local street names, find the name of a Maori legend relating to the Rotorua region, find the meaning of their own name.
